Course Objective:
This course demands participants to apply critical thinking skills, logical reasoning, teamwork and knowledge of global current events and hands-on approach to learning. In addition, BMS students 21st century skills will be developed by kindling interests, and enhancing their abilities to be problem solvers by searching for solutions to practical tasks through efficient systematic technologically and environmentally oriented solutions.
Students are taught how to read schematics and to design then construct three dimensional prototype projects using interconnected blocks and electrical/electronic components. Working as a team, group members are trained to be logical thinkers.
While Mr. Lazaga facilitates the teaching, every student is responsible for their own learning. As a participant he/she is expected to contribute to the learning process individually and collectively as a team member. In this course, students will Adopt to Changing Times & Strive for a Better Tomorrow by keeping in pace with global middleschoolers in term of technological and engineering related skills.
Additionally, this course's disciplines aligns with Pre-AP math and therefore will also offer a supplementary learning thru discovery environment.
